To Our Grand Family:
Ecclesiastes 3, tells us,”For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under Heaven.”
Verse 5, goes on to say that, “there is a time to embrace and a time to turn away.”
It appears that we have reached a season, that with every person we come into contact with, we have to ask, “Do I embrace them or turn away?”
With all the isolation that this season may bring to our lives at this time, let us remember...
Although, we may be physically isolated, we are still able to embrace Him during this time and to be embraced as a family.
Verse 12 of Ecclesiastes 4, says, “A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided core is not easily broken.”
We want to encourage everyone during this time to embrace one another...by checking on one another, praying for another, when someone comes across your mind, reach out to embrace them.
Embrace them in conversation, embrace them through prayer.
Many folks, the only time they have contact with other believers is at Church, so during this season, more than any other we have faced, you must allow yourself to be embraceable.
Technology allows us many different avenues to stay in contact with one another.
And of course, above all else, embrace the One who has embraced us all.
We have all been guilty, in the past, of our only spiritual nourishment coming from Church. That won’t work in a season such as the one we are currently facing.
Luke 15:20 says “And he arose and came to his father. But while he was a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.”
This is a picture of God’s love for us and how He longs to embrace us.
You may feel a long way from Him right now but We want to encourage you, to run to Him and let Him embrace you.
Allow this season to be a season of growth in your life.
Be embraceable.
We love you and are here for you.
We look forward to the day soon, when we can say, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
